November is a much cherished time for the FORT crew, as each year we look forward to CSCA’s Creative Best Awards—a night to unwind with our friends and peers, and to celebrate the best creative work coming from Central Ohio.
The awards theme this year was “Create Hungry,” and we came ready to hopefully ‘taste victory,’ having entered a few of our favorite projects of 2016. After grabbing a few pre-ceremony adult beverages at Wolf’s Ridge Taproom, we descended upon the venue with eager anticipation. After Eric and Todd helped themselves to about four pounds of fine charcuterie, it was time for the awards presentation.
The rest of the night turned into a bit of a blur (thanks for the whiskey, Terry), but we were humbled and honored to pick up 7 awards during the evening, including 2 “Best of Category” honors.
Here’s a bit of a closer look at our winning entries:
Best of Category – encounterbooks.com
Excellence – fortyeah.com
Excellence – Pelotonia 100 Poster
Excellence – The Rise and Fall of Violent Crime in America
Excellence – Juggle Identity
Excellence – Salt & Pine Identity
Best of Category – Pelotonia 16 Launch Campaign
Thank you to the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts, the judges, and to our great clients who allow us to create work we are passionate about.
